Rosemae Makes is a small handmade crafts and gifts business based in Margate, Kent.

2. Our Handmade Products

Many of our products are handmade individually, meaning slight variations in colour, finish, shape and appearance may occur.

These natural variations are part of what makes each creation unique. However, all products must still match their descriptions and meet your statutory consumer rights.

We aim to provide accurate photographs, descriptions and measurements. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen.

 

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP).

The total price, including any applicable delivery charges, will be shown before you place your order.

Payment must be completed using an available payment method at checkout.

If an obvious pricing or listing error occurs, we will contact you before accepting or fulfilling the affected order.

 

4. Orders and Availability

After placing an order, you will receive an order acknowledgement.

We reserve the right to decline an order before acceptance, for example where an item is unavailable or there is an obvious listing error. Any payment taken for an order we cannot fulfil will be refunded.

If there is a problem with your order, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

 

5. Personalised and Custom-Made Orders

We offer personalised engraving, customised printing and other made-to-order products.

Please check all spelling, names, measurements, colours and other requested details carefully before submitting your order.

Products made to your specifications or clearly personalised are generally exempt from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right.

This does not affect your rights if a product is faulty, damaged or not as described.

 

6. Delivery

Available delivery methods, charges and estimated timescales are displayed at checkout.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed dates unless expressly agreed otherwise.

We will contact you if we become aware of a significant delay. Your statutory rights regarding delivery remain unaffected.

Thursday–Saturday: 10:30am–5pm Sunday: 11am–4pm

Opening hours may change. Please check our latest updates before travelling.

We will contact you when your order is ready for collection. Please wait for confirmation before visiting to collect it.

 

8. Your Right to Cancel an Online Order

For most non-exempt products purchased online, you have the legal right to cancel your order without giving a reason within 14 days after the day you receive the goods.

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement, such as an email to rosemaemakes@gmail.com, before the cancellation period expires.

You then have a further 14 days after notifying us to send the goods back.

You may use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to use it.

 

Effects of Cancellation

If you validly cancel, we will refund the payments received for the cancelled goods, including the original standard delivery charge where applicable. We do not have to refund any additional cost arising from your choice of a more expensive delivery option.

We will make the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving the returned goods, or receiving evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

If the goods have not yet been dispatched, we will refund you within 14 days of being informed of your cancellation.

Refunds will be made using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed, without charging you a refund fee.

You are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when cancelling because you have changed your mind.

You may be responsible for a reduction in value caused by handling the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

 

Exceptions to Change-of-Mind Cancellation

The statutory cancellation right does not normally apply to:

• Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.

• Sealed goods unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, where the seal has been broken after delivery.

These exceptions do not remove your statutory rights concerning faulty or misdescribed goods.

10. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us at rosemaemakes@gmail.com.

Where possible, include your order number, a description of the issue and photographs to help us investigate.

We will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with UK consumer law, including reasonable return costs where applicable.

Your statutory rights are not affected.

 

11. Returns and Refunds

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
